Independent living, supported.
At Evergreen, we believe that needing a little help shouldn't mean giving up your independence. Life changes. Maybe you're getting older. Maybe you're recovering from an injury. Maybe you're living with a disability. Or maybe you're supporting someone you love and simply need another set of hands.
Whatever the reason, sometimes a little practical support can make a big difference. That's where Evergreen comes in.
Hi, I'm Nadio Hachey
I've been a resident of the Sea to Sky for over 30 years. During this time I've mainly worked at Whistler Blackcomb as a Manager in the Snow and Bike School. I have a lovely wife, Leanne, an awesome daughter, Harmoney, and a bunch of cats and tiny dogs. I've been a member of the Pemberton Lions for almost 10 years and love helping out the community.
My main values are integrity, trust and honesty. My superpowers are building relationships, connecting, helping others and gettin' 'er done.
My goal here is simple: to facilitate and support independent living.
Vision & mission
Our vision
A community where everyone has the opportunity to live independently at home, with confidence, dignity and connection.
Our mission
Evergreen connects people with trusted, local, non-medical support that makes everyday life easier—helping people remain independent, engaged and connected to the communities they call home.
Seven things we hold to
1. Independence
We support people's ability to make their own choices and live life on their own terms.
2. Dignity & Respect
We treat every person, every home and every situation with respect, compassion and discretion.
3. Trust
Inviting someone into your home is personal. We take that responsibility seriously.
4. Human Connection
Good support is about more than completing tasks. It's about people, relationships and belonging.
5. Reliability
When someone depends on us, we show up. We communicate clearly and do what we say we'll do.
6. Community
We believe local relationships matter. Evergreen is built around the people, businesses and organizations that make the Sea to Sky a community.
7. Practical Help
We focus on the things that genuinely make everyday life easier—not unnecessary complexity.
A different kind of support
Evergreen connects people with trusted, local providers who can help with the practical things that make everyday life easier. Transportation. Meals. Errands. Companionship. Home organization. Caregiver respite. Nothing complicated. Nothing medical. Just good people providing practical help—so you can spend more time doing the things that matter to you.
Built around trust
Inviting someone into your home is personal. That's why we take the selection of Evergreen providers seriously. We are building a network of people who are not only capable, but reliable, respectful, compassionate and trustworthy. Our provider process includes appropriate screening, references and other checks relevant to the services being offered. And if something doesn't feel right, we want you to tell us. Your trust is more important than a transaction.
Local by design
Evergreen is being built here in the Sea to Sky. We believe local relationships matter: knowing the communities we serve, understanding the realities of getting around the valley, knowing where people go for help, and building relationships with local organizations and service providers. That's what makes Evergreen different from a large, one-size-fits-all service. We're local. We're accessible. And we're building this community by community.
Non-medical. Human. Practical.
Evergreen is deliberately not a medical or nursing service. We're here for the space between managing completely on your own and needing formal health-care services. Our role is simple: help people live independently at home—with confidence.
People who want a little more help managing life at home
- Older adults who want to remain active and independent in their own homes.
- People recovering from injury who need practical help while they get back on their feet.
- People living with disabilities who need assistance with everyday tasks while maintaining independence and choice.
- Families and caregivers who need another set of hands, some respite, or simply peace of mind knowing someone reliable is checking in.
We'll listen. We'll help where we can.
We won't promise to do everything. We won't pretend to replace doctors, nurses, therapists or other professionals. And we won't treat people like a list of tasks.
We'll listen. We'll help where we can. And we'll connect you with the right people when we can't. Because independence doesn't mean doing everything yourself. Sometimes independence means knowing when to ask for a little help.
Welcome to Evergreen. Helping people live independently at home—with confidence.
